Re: Week 10 Logan @ Warren
Chiefs finish season with a couple W's, and the SEOAL closes its football chapter forever.
Probably fitting the last game of this league gets won by Logan.

One last game on a tough year for the Chiefs. Another W would be good for the this young team . Go Chiefs !!!!! Chiefs 28 Warriors 21 would be good .

Re: Week 10 Logan @ Warren
The 2,177th - and final - SEOAL football game.
I swore off ever going to Warren again about 7 years ago - driving there from Columbus is a pain.
But I'm making a trip for this last match-up. Will be very sad.
Hoping Logan can continue the momentum. The second half of the season this team has really worked to keep improving every week. I think a lot of credit has to go to the coaching staff and the senior leadership who EASILY could have folded after the Nelsonville-York game. And they could have folded after falling behind by two TDs against Athens.
But this team answered the bell. Beat Athens. Played as well as they could against Jackson and DeSales - and got a great victory last week.
Unlike many - including myself - predicted, this team is not 0-9. This team has NOT seen tons of players quitting before the end of the season.
I hope they work hard this week and get one last SEOAL victory.
Go Chiefs.

Congrats on the Ross win, as I expected. Should see the Chiefs work hard to go out on a winning note against Warren. I like the Chiefs by 2 TDs.
Sad to see the SEOAL fold. Many memories, playing & coaching.

That's not a good sign! Hopefully they were not underclassmen who won't be back. This team needs all the depth they can get.loganlocos wrote: This team has seen tons of players quitting before the end of the season.

All joking aside in the past about the TVC, SEOAL, cut and run, etc., etc. you have to admit the last game for this league is just sad.
Been a great almost 100 year run guys, best of luck to everyone in finding a place to land league wise.

My mistake. I meant to say NOT seen players quitting. Corrected above.cbolt wrote:That's not a good sign! Hopefully they were not underclassmen who won't be back. This team needs all the depth they can get.loganlocos wrote: This team has seen tons of players quitting before the end of the season.

I cant wait to see how much the Warriors improve this offseason. Once that coach gets them in the batting cage I bet they become much better hitters. A little time onthe mound will help their throwing too. What position did he play in the majors? Will he assist with baseball this spring?
