This would be a great pick up for Fort Frye. Magnolia Graduates 17/18 seniors I think. Magnolia's entire offensive line is gone. I would say top 7 maybe even 8 offensive lineman. They do have a sophomore that plays defensive line.

Coached against Magnolia and have watched Fort Frye play for years. I like Fort and their staff, but even next year Magnolia 28 Fort Frye 7. Magnolia will be at the worst 8-2 next season. Great program at that school for years now. They don't have good teams in a cycle they just reload! I know you can't compare but look at the Monroe Central games. One point win by Fort and a 3 touchdown win by Magnolia. IMO

I can't find the exact numbers, but it looks to me like Magnolia is quite a bit bigger than Fort Frye. Thanks for taking satisfaction in thinking about beating us though. It's a pretty nice of you, really.

Our schedule did get better this year, and it would probably be good to add someone like Magnolia in the near future. Going undefeated and then losing in the first round of the playoffs is a sign that they can beef up the regular season schedule a little more.

Fort Frye will return 16 Srs , 4 1st team all district players and should be much better next year I would love to play Magnolia as they lose a lot more then FF. Cadets will have to replace the Eastern District player of the year.

It is never about what you lose. It is about who you bring back. 180(?) more students in your high school means it's easier to bring more back year in and year out. Magnolia would be a good pickup for Fort Frye's schedule, but I don't know what Magnolia's fascination would be with playing smaller Ohio schools.

What division would Magnolia be in Ohio? Jackson is seeking a week 10 opponent in 2016. Also seeking opponents in future years. Where is Magnolia located?

Right along the Ohio River about 40 miles north of Marietta. Easy drive for Jackson. Nice facilities.
Would've been a heckuva game this year.

Same conference classification. Maybe if Fort Frye didnt play so many cupcakes they wouldnt get embarrassed in the playoffs every year. Seems like Fort Frye doesn't have a problem beating up on schools smaller than them. I mean Wirt? Frontier? Waterford? Come on man.

Cupcakes Fort Frye was one in the region points which is heavy on who you beat and who they beat. Fort lost to Fredericktown who made it to the regional final. The game was 6-0 with 3 mins left far from being embarrassed. Next year Fort will be the real deal but I agree they will need to up the schedule with the PVC being down next season.

I actually think it would be a good game. Just like the basketball final last year. If I didnt think so I wouldnt be calling them out.

Jackson has almost as many boys in classes 9-11, as Magnolia has students in classes 9-12. I guess around 100 students more but whatever make the call.
