I think this would make a great regular season matchup in most years. NY and New Lex have never played each other in the regular season in football before. That is hard to believe! They have, however, been long-time scrimmage rivals.

Hope NY scores early and often in this one. Might take some of the sting out of the upcoming shutout in week 1.

New Lex is really down this year, should be a pretty good scrimmage. As far as New Lex and NY in regular season games, you have got to be funnin or smokin something. New Lex would beat NY "ugly" almost any year. Again, should be a good scrimmage, but only a scrimmage, but NY wants nothing to do with a regular season series with the likes of a program like New Lex, get a grip buddy.

They didn't look that good to me! (New Lex that is) They can't tackle and they can't hold onto the ball.

I said New Lex is really down this year, anyone from New Lex would proboly tell you that. What was the score of the scrimmage today? My point was even a very bad New Lex team is way out of NY's league, get real. No disrespect to a very storied NY program and history but you had better stay with the Glouster Trimbles, Athens, ect, you DO NOT want any part of programs like New Lex year in and out in a regular season game. Like I said. it would simply be " ugly".

NY would hold their own against New Lex in a regular season matchup. I think scores from scrimmages in the past show that. They have scrimmaged for many years.

New Lex will be down again this year but I agree that a N-Y / New Lex regular season series would be a one sided affair overall much as the Logan/Nelsonville series was for years. That's probably why the powers that be at N-Y have never scheduled them if the truth be known.

^^^^^^^^^^^^U DISLIKE NY That much Stay off NY treads. its that easy.
Re: 8/14 Scrimmage: New Lexington @ Nelsonville-York
Nelson/York could play a 10 game series with New Lex And finish no worse than .500
