River Valleys coach should be coach of the year for the tvc ohio since they lost everything and still had a winning season.

Athens went 14-1 and Adams wasn't TVC Ohio coach of the year. Adams is two time D3 coach of the yearPoo Bear wrote: I would hope Adams would win in the TVC

I believe Crabtree for sure, Woodward has to be mentioned because he's going to win outright the title but I think Crabtree should win. L
Re: Coach of the year Candidates
I would go with Richards from Nelson/York. Took a lot of boys from a team where things got out of hand and has made champions out of them. What happened at NY last year has probably set teams back some years in their program. Not sure if info is true but I heard he took some players back that had quit last years team. Not too many coaches have done what Richards has done.MeyerSpread wrote:*All first year Coaches in the TVC

Re: Coach of the year Candidates
My vote would be for Burgs coach Woodward for winning the soc ll and possibly 2 undefeated seasons in a row and a 24 game regular season winning streak !

Re: Coach of the year Candidates
Great job by coach Richards at NY. BUT golly gee the Coach of Year certainly should go to Ryan Adams. This man leads a staff that will one day go down as legendary for it's continuity. THIS season he coaches the Bulldogs to a superior season.

Re: Coach of the year Candidates
For the SVC, it'll be hard to not give it to Duane Hall from Zane Trace. If they win this Friday, that would make him 28-0 in SVC play in his coaching career!
Unioto's Jeff Metzler and Piketon's Tyler Guillion have done a great job this year as well, exceeding expectations for both teams.
The other 5 coaches won't come close to winning, but in my opinion, this is the best set of 8 coaches that the SVC has ever had at one time. From top to bottom, the coaches seem to be prepared and getting the most out of their teams, which is something that I don't think has been able to be said at the bottom of the league for a long time.

That's easy for SOC 2...Woodward possibly 2 undefeated seasons! SOC 1 Gifford from sciotoville East from 6-4 to possibly 10-0 2nd straight year making playoffs alot to be said with small schools!!! And OVC that has to be Aaron Duncan he has turned the Trojan program around and has them heading in the right direction with their 1st winning season! Congrats to all 3 coaches on great seasons!

I think Tomlinson from Eastern has done a great job. 2nd year of Varsity football and they have a chance of a winning record at 6-4. Not saying he should be coach of the year but he has done a great job at Eastern.
Re: Coach of the year Candidates
Gifford is getting it done with being 9-0 and the recruiting side of it. D7 school with an OSU player and another kid going to a big college.
