Funny Funny Funny - Ironton Eagles, The Little Guys Funny!

Man, talk about funny! I was at their game this evening. They were midfield and their coach was talking to them. At one end zone, some of Coal Grove's varsity had wandered onto the field. Ironton's little guy coach is giving the boys instruction and telling them that they need to do something so they don't get 'slaughtered out there' and then he repeats the admonition like..'you'll get killed out there' or something like that..and one of the little guys looks over to the Coal Grove varsity and as serious as a heart attack, honestly believing it says to his coach..'Well, no wonder, look how big those guys are!' The Eagles coach points to the other end of the field and says, 'you're playing those guys, not those guys'

Too funny, even though that guy thought he and his 8 year old buds were going to be playing Coal Grove's varsity, he was ready to do it!

That's one the better things I've read in quite some time. I hope someone keeps that story handy for when that little guy is a big guy and facing a little adversity in his life. It might serve as a pretty good reminder that sometimes you just gotta tighten your chin-strap in life and get after it........regardless of the odds ;)
