Re: Week 8: SOC2 Minford (5-2) @ Scioto Northwest (2-5)
This will be a LONG for northwest. Minford is comin in on a 2 game losin streak. They will not lose 3 straight. That would def hurt there playoff chances. Minford will score often. Over by half time. The falcons will win by at least 28
Re: Week 8: SOC2 Minford (5-2) @ Scioto Northwest (2-5)
I feel bad for Northwest. I know they're down but with having a 2 game losing streak and getting beat in such a thriller last week my falcons are going to make sure they get the job done this week and get back on a winning trend. Minford by 3tds
Re: Week 8: SOC2 Minford (5-2) @ Scioto Northwest (2-5)
Minford gets back on track these next two weeks, heals up from two brutal weeks, and fine tunes their game.

Minford gets back to piling up the W's this week. Minford in a big way. JV game after halftime. Northwest is improving, but not there yet.
Re: Week 8: SOC2 Minford (5-2) @ Scioto Northwest (2-5)
Minford still very much alive in playoff standings. Win out and they should be hosting a playoff game. Keep your heads up you still have alot to play for.

^ I have it just a bit different than you, but you are on the right track. Yes you are correct the Falcons are "still in the thick of things," for a home game. The Piketon and Oak Hill wins were huge, as both of them should go 9-1.

By all indications Minford should win hands down. Confidence needs a boost. There should be no let up as they need to get the bad taste out of their mouths from the last two weeks.

Northwest has some nice formations and runs good plays that could give teams in this area trouble. With that being said, they just don't have the athletes and speed to make those plays happen. Minford by as many as they want....
Keep an eye on the NW coach throwing balls to the receivers during warmups. He threw at least 30 balls in a row 45-50+ yards. Pretty entertaining....

where are all these DIFFERENT rankings coming from? they are showing teams at all different places... especially oak hill, valley and wheelersburg.... and a couple of others.

Re: Week 8: SOC2 Minford (5-2) @ Scioto Northwest (2-5)
The WBNS newsroom had Crooksvile beating Tri-Valley, which was a mistake, so everyone moved up a spot. Joe Eitel didn't come out until this moring so I did the best with the scores WBNS was reporting. I was pretty close as Oak Hill is correct, Valley and Wheelersburg have the correct points, just move them up b/c Crooksville didn't beat Tri-Valley as reported.

after losing last two minford has a game they can win
Re: Week 8: SOC2 Minford (5-2) @ Scioto Northwest (2-5)
I think the voting is a ploy to rattle some cages, but I think Minford will win this game against Northwest. Not saying the Mohawks won't score because they do have some athletes over there, but 11 picked Northwest to win... Not this season.

Re: Week 8: SOC2 Minford (5-2) @ Scioto Northwest (2-5)
Minford gets things going back in the right direction. I expect a Falcon win by a wide margin. Good luck to both teams.
Re: Week 8: SOC2 Minford (5-2) @ Scioto Northwest (2-5)
It hasnt been all that long since Minford lost to Northwest.....I think Luman was a Junior they started out 7-0, they beat the burg and then the wheels fell off!! They lost their last 3 games made the long drive to Shannandoe (sp?) for round 1 and got pounded!! Northwest was average that year, although they had a top notch running back, kind of like this year...... Falcon fans is this accurate?
