TRIMBLE vs SOUTHERN

Ended as we all thought I guess. Not to take anything away from the purple guys.

42 to 0 in the first quarter.Wow that was bad but southern had some nice looking players southerns qb looked to be pretty good

How about that fake punt on 3rd and long partway through the 3rd quarter with the game already over and playing with 8 minute quarters. Now thats classy right there.

O and B and smell good. I watched the game on TV and it did not look like a called fake punt. Southern didnt line anyone over on Trimble's sprinters. If you have ever read my post I usually am tough on the cats, however it just looked like the punter was alert and made a play. So my question is why was the sprinter uncovered. If we he was covered Trimble punts the ball.

I'm glad you can read. Also, if you did watch the game you would have noticed that several varsity players played in more then just the first quarter.

Would not have been a smart move on their part. Things do have a way of coming back to bite you.

I'll have to watch the replay again. I didn't see that. (I wasn't looking for it though) Still I don't think it was something that should have been done. Then again we are talking about kids and they are coached to do that if the sprinter is left uncovered.

DILLIGAF CG might of said the same thing about your game. I will say Trimble's coach didn't try to run the score up. If he wanted to run it up Dyla would of had more then 6 carries for 134 yards. It was 42-0 after 1 qt and ended up 49-21 its not hard to figure he called off the dogs. I am not going to rip their coach, I thought he did a good job since they only scored 1 TD after 1st qt. The Tornadoes will be better in the next few years with most of their players being freshman and sophmores. Good luck to both teams the rest of the way.

I will agree with you.i did say the same thing when trimble played cg not much of a game.and i think southern will be a better team neaxt year goodluck to you guys
