Week 10: South Gallia (4-5) @ Symmes Valley (8-1)

Post by riverball »

Must win for SV to have a chance at home playoff game. This should give them MUCH to stay up for in this game. Thoughts or comments on this one.

Always a good game but Vikings to strong for Rebel. IMO Vikings by at least 20 pts. Go Vikings.

Shouldn't the title of this post say week 10, not week 9?

Finish strong Vikings!! It would be really nice to play at home next week and avoid a 4 hr+ drive like we had last year. Let the other team have the bus-lag!

Looks like the Vikings have a good shot at a home game here!If they win they should jump Malvern into the 4 spot!Strasburg Franklin sits at #9 but controls their own destiny but play a good D-5 team in 6-3 Garaway and will most likely lose,Here is region 23 below!

South Gallia did better than I thought they would in the TVC for the first season. But they can't win this game. They do have something to build on for next year. If SV gets a home game someone will regret playing them week 11. That drive sucks no matter where you are coming from!

Agreed Heavy D. Reminds me of the really old Right Guard deodorant TV commercial with a semi-pro baseball team in a school bus driving down a dusty road on a super hot summer day, when the coach says, "It's a long ride to Hog Flats" and he starts tossing out sticks of Right Guard deodorant to the team.

I don't care which way you are coming from, it is one really long ride to SV. I was there in the spring and could not believe how long it took to get there from Athens county......

What do you expect? You're talking about a school that has a "Drive your tractor to school" day! But I digress. I hate trying to get a seat there but it's a nice small-town atmosphere. Hopefully they get that home game!
As for this one, the 775/141 Rivalry won't be close this year. Vikes roll.

I've got Symmes Valley barely edging out Malvern for the #4 spot.

I hope so. I know that 5 hour trip can't be fun.

Battle of 790 will be a stinker this year. Rebels may make it a game next year.
