Very good analysis of the past year. Next year will be challenging for the returning Blue Devils. As I understand it they will graduate their three fastest players. They return enough lettermen to be competitive next year, but they will have to be a much more disciplined team. They will be less able to put up points with big plays. There will need to be more sustained drives which means less penalties and less turnovers. With the same preparation effort as last year I am looking forward to seeing more strength gains. We had great senior leadership this past season and need people to step up in that capacity. Looking forward to cheering them on next year.

its hard to replace this small but talented senior class but the future is bright for gahs they have a solid coaching staff in place a very talented team coming back and a very good so to be sophmore class coming in... everyone might think im crazy but i think next years team will be no worse than 8-2

Just heard on the radio that your Austin Wilson and our Klay Arthur were named SEOAL Co- Players of the year. Congratulations to both young men. They both deserve it.

A nice wrap up on a fine season for the Blue Devils.

In looking forward, we're returning a good portion of our line and have several returning lettermen. Many of our stars next year may be the big boys up front. I don't think we'll have nearly as much explosiveness as this year, so we're going to have to be more of a grind it out team. That will take better execution, less turnovers and less penalties than we had this year.

I was pleased with our progress. We beat all of the teams that I thought that we SHOULD beat. We beat ourselves against Chillicothe. We got handled by the two playoff caliber teams on our schedule. That's the big thing I'd like to see change next year. We need to win, or at the very least be competitive, against that level of team.

I'm always talking to my son about how there are levels of preparation and effort that he doesn't even know exist and that to be the best, he needs to find those levels and realize that what he thinks is his maximum effort really isn't. That's all about a mindset. I'd like to see next year's team find that extra level of effort, preparation and discipline in getting ready for next year to take that next step.

I think they will also be very good next year,if #20,#42 soon to be sophs bulk up a little with Taylor in the backfield and McCalla with a very good arm, could be very dangerous.

Does anyone know the schedule for next year,I know we do not play Hillsboro.

^^^^^

I don't think any of the players are undeserving but I think an offensive team and a defensive team by position would be a much better way of honoring the best players in the league.
