Re: ALL SOUTHEAST DISTRICT DIVISION 4
Congrats to Mason Jordan and Tre Underwood on 1st team. And Andrew Gulley and Casey Sanders on HM. To Tre, Andrew, and Casey all seniors good luck with what ever you do in the future. And Mason you should be primed for next year leading the Trojans.
Re: SOUTHEAST ALL-DISTRICT FOOTBALL TEAM D4
I'm happy for the kids that made the team for the Trojans. Would liked to have seen more players on 1st team, but you need to win more for that to happen. Good Luck to those Sr on the list and Mason will be a fine QB for the Trojans next year. I do think Brennan Howard should have been on this team and Andrew Gulley should have been on the first team at LB with Tre Underwood. Congrats to Trevon Pendleton on Def - POY he deserved it, he could have been POY on either side of the ball.

BigTime is correct. The Trojans have to win more games for that to happen.

Re: SOUTHEAST ALL-DISTRICT FOOTBALL TEAM D4
I am a football lover and a follower of the Trojans. I respect the game and all of the young men for the hard work that they put into a sport that they obviousy love. BUT I believe that there is one young man that has worked his butt off for the Trojans this year and has sadly been overlooked by his conference and by the district. I have watched Brennan Howard, Sr. Offensive Guard/ Defensive Tackle, play in all of his home games and some away games. When I cannot attend, I listen on the radio. This young man HARDLY EVER comes off of the field! As the offense and defense are changing out, Howard remains on the field. He is also on the field for extra point attempts. And why do you think this is? Obviously his ablilities are respected by his coaches or this would not happen in the first place. In the second place, he is a beast! He is not as tall as his O-line sidekick Casey Sanders, but he has more strength than anyone on the team. (In talking to one of the players, I learned that he set a new school weightlifting record this year!) He handled many players on both sides of the ball that were much larger than he. I've seen hiim sack the QB, cause fumbles ,tip the ball, open holes, and TACKLE TACKLE TACKLE! The other teams respect his abilities as they double-team him and run to the opposite side when he is on defense. Also, I think that I have only seen him commit a couple of penalties in all of the games (7) that I watched this year as well. When I listen to the radio, I hear his name often and have heard him being honored sometimes as a Wendy's player of the game, Portsmouth Block block of the game, and have seen him as a Scioto Voice player of the game. I also heard that he was selected as his team's Offensive AND Defensive linemane of the year! What more does it take in order to receive proper recognition by your league and your district? Brennan, your team's 3-7 season probably didn't help even though your opponents were ALL tough and usually 1 or 2 divisions ahead of you, but you are an outstanding player. At 275 and 6ft they may look at taller linemen, but you should stand tall in knowing that you, your hard work, your outstanding ablities, and your dedication are appreciated by your fans. You are truly a team player and I am glad to have you as a fellow Trojan!
Re: SOUTHEAST ALL-DISTRICT FOOTBALL TEAM D4
Nice post, The Trojans will Miss Mr Howard.......now about tackling...did the Trojans really tackle anyone this season? That must improve if this team will become successful
