I'M ASSUMING THE SCHEDULE IS THE SAME.

The Fighting Tigers lose 13 Seniors

Jake Isaac -------- QB/S - 2 year starter - played both ways
Eli Willis ---------- TE/C - 2 year starter - played both ways
Andrew Scott ---- HB/S - first year starting, played 4 or 5 games before season ending injury
Jourdyn Barrow - HB/C - started the last half of the season on Defense
Travis Gayhart -- TE/DE - played sparingly
Chase Rowe ----- HB/S --- I don't believe he played this season due to injury
Vance Day ------- C/NG -- don't believe he played much this year due to injury
Isaiah Dodgion -- T/DT -- not sure how much he played
Levi Langdon ---- C/NG -- 2 year starter but missed the first half of this season due to injury
Tyler Webb ------ T/DT -- 4 year starter both ways
Larry Morris ----- T/DT -- first year playing, started on Defense
Tre Neal --------- K ------- I believe he was a 2 year starter at Kick offs and extra points

Feel free to correct anything I have wrong, just going from my memory.

I was really impressed with Webb's and Morris' lateral speed down the line on defense...Morris was a force against RH. Would like to have seen what kind of player he could have been had he played and developed all 4 years, he is a very good athlete and played very good for first year playing. I think they will be tough to replace, just sheer size with that quickness/speed for lineman of their size.

Ironton will also have both Carrico kids next year (The young one moves up from jr high and will contribute somewhere from day one- he's a heck of anathlete). Along with Wilson and Seth Fosson coming back hopefully to full health.

With all the talent they have coming back they could run the table but like every year we just have to see.

Looks like we have a nice group coming back next year, Webb and Morris will be missed and I hear a few freshmen will have a good shot at playing, all they need to now is get to the weight room, won't be long tigers

it should it's the exact opposite of last year it looks like. unless there are changes otherwise we have not seen yet.if there was any change it would likely be a week on the ovc part of the schedule as far as different weeks.

Went down and watched wrestling practice only 2 high school kids wrestling and they are freshmen. What happened to the coach that said if you are not playing basketball you will need to wrestle. Same old Ironton it's way over due for a change in the football coaching staff.

I don't think wrestling participation reflects a coaching staff change for football. However, Ironton doesn't seem to be as physically dominant as they have been in the past, so maybe you're right.

I see your point but they go hand in hand. When kids are not participating in competitive sports I think they lose an edge. Ironton has really lost their edge and that is a direct reflection of the Ironton football staff. But I guess winning the OVC is the new high for the coaching staff and players. Ironton has not won a game outside the conference in 2 years.
