To me the surprise is Piketon's record; I thought they usually have great athletes down there but for some reason have a 27-29 record. Maybe I'm ill informed?
Not a surprise is Westfall. Their non-con schedule is always Logan Elm, Circleville, and Teays Valley. 3 schools that are all bigger than they and usually have a decent record coming out of it. Makes them battle tested early.

^^^^^^ Lol
Piketon came off of two 1-9 seasons in 2000 and 01'. Coach Gullion took over in 2002 and his league seasons have went like this.
02' - 0-7
03' - 2-5
04' - 2-5
05' - 3-4
06' - 3-4
07' - 5-2
08' - 5-2
09' - 4-3
10' - 5-2
The 2008-10' have been the best teams Piketon has fielded since the late 90's. In 99' Piketon let then head coach Morris Gullion go by non renewing him. Thats when Creed Miller and Jay Gullion both left for Waverly and Piketon went on a 5 year drought of 3 or 4 wins in that time period.
Piketon couldnt get over the Westfall and Adena hump in 08', there best chance to do so. 08' would be the only season you could say was dissapointing IMO.
So, when you look at the last 5 years, Piketon is 22-13 with 2 league runners up.

I stand corrected Piketon is 28-28! Also are sure coach Gullion took over in 2002. I thought it was a year or two later.

I looks like Westfall is consistently very good in league.
Adena is consistently good.
ZT is either really good or really bad.
Piketon and paint Valley have been average
SE,Hunt, and the U have consistently bad
