The two teams appear to be evenly matched again this season, last team with the ball has a chance.

Vinton County will win this one by 2 td's. 21-7 Vinton over Waverly.

This is the first time (in a long time) that VC is considered a favorite. I'm anxious to see how the boys react. If VC plays to their potential, this should be a 3 td win.. but they laid an egg in the last 3 quarters in a game against Unioto that they should have ran away with. So the jury is still out on the Vikings.. but one thing is for sure.. coach Burelson has this team on the right track.

The Tiger may get the big losing streak off there back this week, but if I was a betting man I would say Vinton wins by a couple TD's. I still say Waverly wont win a game this year, maybe Northwest.

After watching both teams I say it will be an evenly matched game. VC should be able to run pretty well on Waverly, but Waverly will pass ALL OVER VC if the corners do not get safety help. Jackson was able to pass on them easily because they left the corner 1 on 1 with the WR and Waverly has some athletic and big WR's.

This game is a toss up but I'm going with the home team and those cool new uniforms Waverly has lol

Good Luck to both teams

I will take the home team in this one. VC still struggling, and playing at Waverly won't help matters.

Are Corcoran and Hensley still out? Those injuries haven't helped the Tiger cause. Look for Waverly to right the ship this Friday night as the Vikings invade Raidager field on Home Coming night.

Tigers desperately need this one or else they might be staring 0-19 in the face going into the NW game.

I have a question? Have the Waverly Tigers ever been 19 and 0 before in the entire life of Tiger football program? My answer would be no, but I am for sure of that. I can not understand how they could be so good and so bad that fast?

Eye Lander,
1968 and 1969 the Tigers were 19-0 I think you meant 0-19 now I dont think they were ever down like that two seasons in a row.
In 1970, 71 Waverly was 0-16 at one point. In 75, 76, 77 they went 0-17 through a stretch.

So Waverly is currently riding a 13 game losing streak?

On the flip side, VC's longest losing streak was 16 straight from 2008-09.
