River Valley vs. South Gallia

Someone needs to talk it over with her. Here is why we need this game.

1. Gate revenues - the scrimmage is very successful, Imagine the gate if they was something on the line.

2. Local Interest - Fans like having something to point to on the schedule and this would definitely ramp up some interest.

3. Competition - This series would probably be very close.

4. School Pride and Excitement - kids would have something to look forward to every year.

5. And, honestly, these two havent always been the best. But, in lean years, this guarantees that somebody gets a win. Not trying to dis anybody but a fact is a fact.

Back in the day you had all the Gallia county schools competing against eachother,so what's the big deal about now.Opps I forgot,this is the new age and it might not be politically correct.

If Dublin Coffman, Scioto and Jerome can play each other.................if Pickerington North and Central can play each other..............if Westerville North, South, and Central can play each other..........then I would think a school on one end of Gallia County and a school on the other end of Gallia County can play each other. They aren't even located in the same town, as is the case with the OCC schools who all play each other.

RV and SG not playing each other is stupid. It makes me think of the movie Footloose where they ban all dancing!
