Re: waverly football 2012
lost a lot from last yr, and the talent pool isnt really overflowing right now. Have a really good qb just not a whole lot to go with him. Coaching staff has their work cut out for them over the next couple of yrs.
Re: waverly football 2012
theres plenty of talent returning other than bolin hitchens in murray underwood stully and many more

Re: waverly football 2012
no disrespect but waverly hasnt reloaded for a couple of yrs, not much speed not much size, lost best receivers have underwood coming back, lost your tb unknown playing there next yr, replace 3 on line and they went double duty, love your enthusiasm but there just isnt much coming through the system now or the next couple of yrs. Trevon better be working on his footspeed cause he is going to be running for his life.

Re: waverly football 2012
i dont see it you have to be good up front and losing the size up front they did plus losing good skill position guys hits where it hurts when there are no holes up front it doesnt matter who you have in the backfield

Losing the kids that we did will def hurt especially knight, hopefully getting the new stadium will get kids motivated to play.

Rumor is that they are getting Adam Pearl. 5''5 thick running back to go along with: Cydrus, Gilbert, Murray, Dray and Rigsby
Re: waverly football 2012
They did lose a lot up front but i heard there gonna have a pretty strong o-line and the new stadium and facility there gonna come out ready for this season. and they did lose a few skill players but they have other skill players that are talented to that are ready to show what they can do. I think there gonna come out an suprise us all with a great season

Re: waverly football 2012
Waverly has a lot comming back. Their lineman all could be benching around 300 by football, and running back about 300. lets just put it this way they will be strong, and very well coached. Everyone is all down on them and that is fine the kids are getting used to this but as a community we need to come together and make this work.

The coaching staff puts in a lot of time and effort in making the program better, their is talent and some size coming back just gotta get motivated to win, every team that's on the schedule next season are all good football programs.
Re: waverly football 2012
the coaching staff is great at waverly and hoping that the new stadium and facility will get them motivated a little bit more

Re: waverly football 2012
All these are true, but leadership is very important to be a good team. Anybody taken that role yet? The leaders in the past for this waverly team have went on to do great things. Trevor Walls, Derek Roback, Jake Knight in the past few years. Whos next?
