I have only caught these guys two times
Both times they won.
Once at home and once on the road at a neutral site.
I really hope they can get back to that form.

First thing they need to do is hire a new head coach. Not sure what the problem was with Melton, for he seemed like a decent young guy. Three of those games listed are going to be pretty tough: River, Shadyside, and Cameron. Bridgeport seems like it has suffered recently because it is exactly in the middle of two powerhouses of Martins Ferry and St. Clarisville. Would be nice to see them get back to the form they were in when the Smelly's were there.

Who is up for the head job? Any assistants moving up? Why did melton give it up?

Local paper (Times Leader) did not really give a reason why Melton stepped down or go into any detail as to why (or if) he was asked to resign. Board president went at great length to say that they are looking for someone who will be active in the school setting/community, etc. Position has been posted internally. I have not heard any names of "frontrunners".

Off of I-70. If memory serves me correctly, the stadium is near Rt. 7.

If you are driving east on I-70, toward WV and PA, I believe it is the last exit in Ohio on the eastern side of the state before you cross the river onto Wheeling Island. Bridgeport is on the river.

Correct, final exit on 70. Stadium is on your left sitting low on Wheeling Creek a half mile before exit. Athletically Bridgeport is on the very low end , although their wrestling team has done well this past year.
