If their is ever a year for Piketon to break thru and beat the mustangs...this is it.
Streaks by a touchdown late.

Re: Week 4: Westfall @ Piketon
Both teams have played a pretty good non league schedule and have come out of it 2-1. Westfall losing to Teays Valley, beating Logan Elm and Circleville, while Piketon beat Waverly and Vinton and lost a heart breaker to Minford. Piketon has put 103 points on Westfall the last 3 years, so I dont see the Mustangs holding them to 14. Now can Piketon only score 14, yes with penalties and turnovers, so dont get me wrong on that point.
There will be some points scored. Stop Williamson, so far very few teams have! lol Piketon must win the turnover battle and field position battle! Lets Go Streaks!

This is ridiculous. This decision could have been made weeks ago or even at the beginning of a week, but not the day before a game. It isn't fair to the kids at all.
Let's Go Mustangs, get a W tonight. Should be a great game in the Village.

Re: Week 4: Westfall @ Piketon
No longer coaching or teaching at Westfall.
EX Westfall coach, EX Circleville coach Keith Downing is in the press box tonight at Piketon. He will coach the remainder of the year. He was a long time Westfall coach in the 80's and 90's.
Regardless, Piketon too many turnovers. Williamson is just too much. Have to take care of the ball to have a chance against them. Score too many points.

Yep, really impressive win for Trent Williamson by himself. Trent Williamson moves to 3-1 with this win.ohiostbucks99 wrote:wow

My take from the press box:
1. Westfall is a very good team with a very good, level headed quarterback.
2. Westfall is not 28 points better than Piketon.
3. Three turnovers in the red zone, a dropped pass at the 5 with no one near you, a missed safety, and 30 or so missed tackles doesn't bode well against anyone, much less a team as good as the Mustangs.
4. The officiating was, well, ridiculous at times. 4 penalties on Westfall for the game. Piketon got called for 4, including 3 pass interference, on 1 Westfall drive.
The Streaks had better regroup and come ready to play Friday, or it could be a long night against an improved Huntington team.

Keller was coaching tonight he was in the Press Box with headset on calling all the shots. Too many mistakes tonight vs a very good Westfall team.
