Player of the week for week 5
Re: Player of the week for week 5
Even though I am a Minford Falcon, my vote this week is Wheelersburg Pirates Eddie Miller.
Miller's passing stats against Jackson was 16-21 passing for 231 yards and 2 TD passes and he rushed for 153 yards on 10 carries with 3 TD.

Eddie Miller stats are actually for 3 quarters, or at least 2 1/2. The kid from Athens has some nice stats too, but you also have to consider the level of competition. Jackson is a much bigger and better team than Waverly whom the Ironmen also beat earlier in the season. Miller was unstoppable against Jackson's huge defensive line.
I vote for Eddie!!
I vote for Eddie!!
Re: Player of the week for week 5
The kid from Athens can not win again. You can win one time, then we will all vote one of the ten winners for the SEOP Player of the year. Keep posting his stats. Keep the names a comming.

Eddie Miller.
He just keeps getting better and better each week. The second season starts this weekend with Northwest coming to the stadium. It is going to be fun to watch Eddie and the rest of the Burg the next 5 weeks and hopefully the playoffs.

Obviously I am going with Eddie Miller...coach Hall knew exactly what Jackson would encounter and he was still able to shred them...maybe we should change the name of Ed Miller stadium to "Eddie Miller" stadium...would only have to buy a couple vowels (and a D), Vanna! JK!

Looks like it is about unanimous, i vote for Miller too. This may be a stupid question to Burg fans, but is he related?

Yes. He is Ed Miller's grandson. Eddie Miller is his dad.
