Athens County Football

Post by 93Bulldog »

The month of September was maybe the best I have ever seen in terms of overall success for the combined schools in Athens County ... (Athens, Nelsonville-York, Trimble, Federal Hocking and Alexander)

SEPTEMBER:

18-2 OVERALL RECORD FOR THE MONTH.
LAST WEEK ALONE ATHENS COUNTY OUTSCORED ITS OPPONENTS 226-to-22!

If you wanna throw the Ohio University Bobcats in their - Athens County went 23-2 ... which would definitly be a first I'm sure ...

They could have beaten the 'little sisters of the poor' for all I care ...

For all five county schools to go 18-2 is pretty good ...

Lol Trimble and Federal Hocking cant help their schedules with so many teams in the Hocking division. Athens played a pretty respectable non league imo. NY could've played a little tougher non league. But it is what it is.

I agree--it's a great thing for the area.
