Region 19....This should be right
1. Valley..... 20.06
2. Oak Hill....17.59
3. Burg.........17.53
4. Wynford......17.1
5. Loudonville....16.50
6. Liberty Union..15.2
7. Hillsdale........12.95
8. Coal Grove......11.09
9. Nelsonville.......10.75
If East Knox can upset Danville tomorrow they will jump to 12.20 and knock Grove out. Otherwise, this should be the matchups.

Not a problem my good man. I'm sure Joe will update soon, but unless the score boards I was using were incorrect, this is what we are going to see.Burg_Grad_77 wrote:Thanks for this. I just checked Joe Eital and he had Burg in 5th but hadn't updated tonights win yet.

Thank you very much. I enjoy the number crunching very much. It makes me feel educated. :122245 :122245

Wheelersburg should be jumping for joy... they get a home game, most likely a game in Jackson vs. Oak Hill in round 2... Valley will have to travel north of columbus if they win next week...
Re: Region 19....This should be right
Matter of opinion I guess... I would rather be playing in Jackson in week 2 rather than north of columbus

Re: Region 19....This should be right
Why would Valley have to travel north of Columbus? They should put it halfway between both schools so would they have travel that far? Who do you see them playing in round 2 if they win in week 11?
Re: Region 19....This should be right
They played Wynford last year and it was north of columbus... 45 minutes from Wynford and 3.5 hours from valley... i know because I drove right by Wynford's high school on the way to the game
That is assuming that Wynford beats their opponent, which of course is not assured but it is more likely than not and that Valley beats their opponent
Granted, I have only been traveling to watch HS playoff games for 15 years or so now... I went an watched all the good Portsmouth teams, Ironton teams, Wheelersburg teams, Valley teams, I watched every game of West's when they went to state title game... In all those games a team from Southern Ohio was NEVER given equal distance from an opponent north of Columbus... that is EVER.
If Valley plays Wynford and the game was anywhere South of Columbus I would be utterly and completely shocked.

Burg playing Liberty Union will be a rematch from 2008 when Burg lost to LU 14-7 in the second round at Jackson. LU put 10 guys in the box and basically shut down the Burg's running game and still yet Burg kept trying to run up the middle.
I think Burg realized last night that they are a passing team.

Where are you getting 3.5 hours? Valley played Wynford in Westerville last year. That is a little less than 2 hours for Valley and about an hour and 15 for Wynford. The Regional title game last year was not near as bad as you are making it out to be.lineman7 wrote:They played Wynford last year and it was north of columbus... 45 minutes from Wynford and 3.5 hours from valley... i know because I drove right by Wynford's high school on the way to the game
