DIII Reg. 12 #5 Archbishop McNicholas at #4 Gallia Academy

Does anybody know anything about this Archbishop McNicholas? What is their style of play? We all need to pray that Memorial Field won't be under water Saturday due to all of this rain. That would be a disaster!

They look like a spread offensive team alot of passing and weapons to through to. Should be a good match up.

If it doesnt quit raining they will need lifejackets to play this game... I dont see how the field will be dried out even if it does quit raining. Mud bath saturday

Good luck to the Blue Devils from here in Ironton. I remember playing on that field my Freshmen year in a rain storm, I think I just about drowned on the bottom of that pile more than once lol........

Muddy field you think would Favor Gallia and there run game just have to keep from turning the ball over.

Could there be a chance that the state says the field isnt playable if it floods from all this rain? If so where would they move the game to?

I was thinking the same thing!!!! The OHSAA has to inspect and approve every field that gets played on!!! With Memorial Field mostly dirt and what now is the 5th day of rain, I think there is a good chance this game could be moved!!!

That would be very unfair to The Blue Devils, they finished in the top 4 and deserve the home field. Should not be punished for an act of God.

I say if the field isn't playable then move the game to Alumni Stadium in Jackson.
