I'm not exactly sure. from bits n pieces I've seen. I gather that the coach was forced out and the kids are refusing to sign up. that could be the complete opposite, but from what I've seen from different sources, that seems to be the case. the hornets have a very proud program steeped in ovc tiles, and playoff experience. and I hope they can sit everybody down in a room and have a checkup from the neckup for everybody. I think coach kidd was a great Christian guy myself.i don't know a lot about him otherwise or details about his football prowess.

I'd like to wish Coach Kidd luck in whatever he chooses to do. He has been in the Coal Grove Program since 1999, including 6 years as the Jr High Coach and 2 as the head honcho. If it wasn't for a play here or there, he'd be a 2 time OVC champion coach. He's a great coach, but an even better person. You don't get coaches like him too often.

I agree if he moves into a RH position I would say his time at Coal Grove is done. Late in the year to be looking for a coach!

Rumor has it Barret was lobbying for the job. Cg is gonna lose a great coach and a stand up guy to help the kids! Cg's loss and another schools gain! Just hate it for the kids/players! But you can only take so much from a school board before they chase ya off!

False: Barrett will be the junior high football coach. It's hilarious seeing everyone say that Kidd doesn't have board support. They voted for him the last two years and would've voted for him again this year. Babies

Does Kidd have any assistants who would want it?

Also, yes the board voted for him for twice, but wasn't he their (AD's) second choice both times? Also they did non-renew him last year as well.

Heard today at work that Tom Kaskey (Burg OC) is interested. Coal Grove could hit a home run
