They are talking to a Northwest, Ohio team about playing at a neutral site.

Was told they were looking for a neutral site in Dayton or Springfield to play West Jefferson.
I seen an updated West Jefferson schedule and they filled week three with another school.

Have not heard anything since.

I hope Pete makes this game happen, I would drive to Dayton for it. I don't like 9 game schedules, even if it means you play a good team like Delphos Jefferson that went 10-2 last year.

I double checked my message from coach Hollon and he listed W Jefferson.
Hopefully he gets a 10th game.

I think Pete is still working out the details with Delphos Jefferson, if this game does happen it would make for a tough 3 game non league slate. Could very well start the year 0-3 but 3-0 is not out of the question. I think the success of this team is based on speed, if the o-line can create some holes for the playmakers they should be a solid team.

This tells me that Pete is pretty confident in this years team, he is not going to schedule a game that is an almost certain loss. Jefferson went to the second rd. in the playoffs last year being put out by an always good Mechanicsburg, and an early respectable 20-6 loss to powerhouse Coldwater. I hope coach Hollon is right about this.

Big step up for pv here. Dj has lost to only two teams last two years coldwater and mechburg. Delphic plays much better teams and they are favorites again to win the nwc. It's not all doom and gloom for pv though. Jefferson will have a new coach, first time in my lifetime someone from outside the program hired. They graduated the whole backfield. So there is hope, but I know they will have a very good rb. Most nwc insiders have jeffcats picked to win again. They will be best team on pv schedule. At least pv won't be headed to stadium park it's a fortress. I'll take Delphos by at least 2 tds. Imo bad game to schedule because if pv can win then Jefferson likely will be very bad in they league and not net points for pv. If they are as strong as they have been then pv has little chance here.
