Week 4: Lucasville Valley (3-0) @ Fleming Co. KY (3-0)
Week 4: Lucasville Valley (3-0) @ Fleming Co. KY (3-0)
Valley had an open date to fill, and was able to reach an agreement with Fleming Co, so the Indians go on the road to KY to try and pick up #34.
Fleming is 3-0 with wins over:
Harrison Co. 40-6
Greenup Co. 14-7
Rowan Co. 26-7
They are about the size of a D3 Ohio School.
Thoughts?

14-7 win over greenup ky (not very impressive ) greenup usually not very good!!!! valley should roll here

and fleming 3-0 start is against 1-11 opponents

Fleming won't give valley a game , if you let greenup hang around you are not a strong team .
Odd scheduling to go to flemingsburg and play a mediocre KY team .

As I stated initially, Valley had a week 4 open date, and this was the only option with the schedule shuffling.ManitouDan wrote:Fleming won't give valley a game , if you let greenup hang around you are not a strong team .

We had a lot of holes to fill. Last year we had 1 game contract Van Buren and played at a central neutral site. We had to replace Chesapeake and had to replace Northwest.ManitouDan wrote:so its a 1 game contract only ? how did an open week happen ? someone back out ?

Anyone know what kind of offense/defense this team runs and what kind of stadium do they have?

You never can tell about Kentucky teams. I think this may end up being a good one.

Re: Week 4: Lucasville Valley (3-0) @ Fleming Co. KY (3-0)
Thanks for the videos... they have been heavily edited. Anytime the other team stops them for less than 7-10 yards it is edited out and anytime the other team gains more than 2-3 yards it is edited. Kind of amusing watching them lose a game by 40 yet never see the other team make a first down.
I don't think this is going to be a blowout like some people thing. Valley is really struggling on defense and are having to travel 2 hours to play an unknown. If the offense doesn't click in the first quarter this could be an interesting game

Re: Week 4: Lucasville Valley (3-0) @ Fleming Co. KY (3-0)
This should be a good game for the Valley defense to get things ironed out. They have given up over 100 pts in the first 3 weeks of the year. Last year, that didn't happen until week 8.
