After Friday, Oak Hill, will have 10-8 edge in the rivalry.

This rivalry game has been played much more than 17 times. I believe that Oak Hill holds the edge in the all time series 29-28-2.

I think Rock Hill has a running game that Oak Hill won't be able to match.

My guess, is the OH coaching staff will have a scheme in place for what sounds like a very good RH running game, just a hunch.SportFan2013 wrote:I think Rock Hill has a running game that Oak Hill won't be able to match.

Oaks come back strong this week. They will stop Rock Hill's running game and win 21 - 7.
Re: Week 3: Oak Hill (1-1) @ Rock Hill (1-1)
Rock Hill's last victory against a non-conference opponent came against Oak Hill in 2011. Before that, their last non-conference win came in 2007 against Welston. I'm not sure Oak Hill is as bad this year as then, but hopefully Rock Hill has improved. Here's pulling for a winning streak for the Redmen against their 93 rival.

I believe Rock Hill will win this game.
Hard to say, being one myself, but the Redmen fans are bipolar, honestly. If Rock Hill loses a game, at the next game there may be 1,000 RH fans. If Rock Hill wins a game, at the next game there will 6,000 RH fans. Then when they lose, they all disappear again. The kids, whether they play football or not, the coaches, RH staff, and even parents know that if they don't keep things rolling along for each game, they will be hurting in the support and fans department. Rock Hill will have to keep playing hard because of that, and I think that will make the game closer than you think.
Often times the will to win is a lot better at determining the results of a game than the skill of the team. And after the show of support for RH against Northwest, I can't see the RH team or fans accepting anything less than a win this week.

Re: Week 3: Oak Hill (1-1) @ Rock Hill (1-1)
I guess this game could come down to 2 things. Can RH defend the passing attack and strong runners for OH? And can OH defend the rushing attack of RH?
Re: Week 3: Oak Hill (1-1) @ Rock Hill (1-1)
Demaniac1 is right. This one will come down to whether Oak Hill can stop the RH's running game and if RH can stop the Oaks passing attack. Would be a huge win for Rock Hill if they can pull it off!

So Oak Hill gets blown out by one of the premier programs south of Columbus and Rock Hill needs a late fumble recovery to beat SOC doormat Northwest and all of a sudden people are thinking Rock Hill is going to win this game?
This one will be decided by halftime.
Oaks big!
