SVC Predictions and News
Might as well get this discussion going now that it is officially football season in the state of Ohio.
Not really sure what to expect this year. Who are the top contenders and where do you see everyone finishing this year? Who are some players to watch out for?

Re: Scioto Valley Conference 2014
Paint Valley should be the favorite. Look for a season pretty similar t0 2013 for the conference.

Better watch out for the U. The Tanks jv. Team last year was tough. And the QB was young and showed a lot of promise.

The U could be a threat if the coaching staff can find an offense and stick with it. They have a great young QB and would LOVE to see Hosely go to WR. With his height and speed and the arm of the Edler kid they could be a team to watch. Just dont think that the U will ever figure it out! Gonna be a tight race throughout and Friday Nights will be fun to watch. Good Luck to all the SVC schools!

What is with the numbers at Unioto? Drove by their practice today and they couldn't have many more than 30 kids out. There is no reason a school that size can't get more kids involved than that.

@Flat_Tip have u not seen last years stats let alone watched a game...... clearly if they ran the ball 85% of the time out of the pistol wing-t they have an offense..now as far as hosley going to wr probably will never happen. the only way hosley leaves qb is if hes injured. stick to the ground n pound tanks and they have a shot. but do not sleep on paint valley returning most to all starters and skill kids from last year they will be a front runner for sure.

Re: SVC Predictions and News
They were 5-5 or 4-6 last year....doubt they do much better than that this year either. Unioto just isn't a football school, although they have no excuse not be top 3 year in and year out playing in a weak and small conference. Not sure I can place all of the blame on the coaches, but you would think they could get more kids out to play and come up with some type of game plan for teams.BIGTIMECOUNTRY wrote: @Flat_Tip have u not seen last years stats let alone watched a game...... clearly if they ran the ball 85% of the time out of the pistol wing-t they have an offense..now as far as hosley going to wr probably will never happen. the only way hosley leaves qb is if hes injured. stick to the ground n pound tanks and they have a shot. but do not sleep on paint valley returning most to all starters and skill kids from last year they will be a front runner for sure.
