John Paul Kelly was injured in a swimming accident on Friday, June 22
resulting in paralysis from the chest down. Due to this accident and subsequent rehabilitation, (He is currently in The Shepherd Center in Atlanta Ga. one of the top rehabilitation hospitals in the nation, specializing in medical treatment, research and rehabilitation for people with spinal cord injury or brain injury.
He and his family are incurring mounting medical and household bills from being unable to work.

John Paul has been employed at C. F. Reuschlein Jewelers, Huntington, WV, since 2008. He is a Marshall University and Chesapeake High School graduate. Jessica(Slagle) Kelley , John Paul’s wife of 6 years, has been a dental hygienist, for the past six years, at Eller & Opimo, DDS, Huntington, WV. She is a graduate of Symmes Valley HIgh School and Shawnee State University They are both great friends of the Proctorville and Chesapeake community and have dedicated countless hours to charitable causes. In April 2013, John Paul and Jessica welcomed a beautiful daughter, Paige, to their family. Please remember this family in your prayers during their time of need.
