Coldwater Vs. Marion Local

Post by art08 »

Three time defending state champions Coldwater hosts four time defending state champions Marion Local. Marion Local's win streak is at 43 games.

I predict Coldwater 27 - Marion Local 10.

What are your predictions?

Simplest prediction is that 50/50 will have a huge pot. Thinking the winner goes home with $5,000.

I love that Cold H2O but Marion Local is more than a hand full and they have had CW's number. I will take Marion Local but I want Cold H2O to win. It will be a sell out and the person winning the 50/50 won't have to work for two weeks or so...lol

From what I have seen, since 2010 the home team has won this game. I would pick coldwater to win this game no matter where it is.

I know Marion Local has a few key players they have lost, and Coldwater returned a ton from the state title team. Marion is easily the best team in D6, but they don't have the horses to keep up in this one.

Coldwater 34
Marion Local 12

If ever a game deserved to be televised for the entire state to see it's this one.
Having seen what Marion Local can do I'll be pulling for them to continue unbeaten.

Not as close as people think. IMO, Coldwater cruises in this one. Not a blowout, just a Coldwater Win.
Marion Local still dominate at 43-1!

shine I'm gonna have to throw a 15 yarder on ya here brother. no doubt them northerners have had more success than us cornshuckers. but ours teams are so spread out geographically. we have far less resource wise to work with. the mac is the cream of the crop as far as leagues no doubt. but we work with what we have down here and hope to get to play the northerners when we can. but we play big boys football too down here. and have plenty of successful programs down here. and 3 state championships down here with ironton having 2 and them burgites havin 1 as well. everybody wants to get back to Columbus and every now and then one of us get there.but I'd love to see this game myself as well. the mac is nothing less than awesome. it gives leagues down here something to strive for.

It's almost all farm land in MAC country. Lots of corn and soy beans. Hard working farmers at their best. I love it here.

I'd say the over/under on the split the pot is $8,000. Several years ago, the take-home from a St. Henry-Coldwater game was in excess of $7,500.
