I’m not sure of John Glenn’s size on the line but that’s what will determine this game. Massie makes it no secret to what they do. Run, run, run and then they will catch you off guard and hit the deep pass. Playoff football so anything can happen.

JG’s QB I heard makes them go. If he is a scrambling QB that can make plays on the run massie might struggle. They’ve played Kenton teams years ago with Mauk who was a tough matchup. The last 2 weeks Massie has controlled the TOP, their first possession last night was about 13 plays 7 minutes long with a TD. Massie should have their full stable of backs healthy which is Poynter, Rudy, Wolfe, Trampler, Beam and the big FB Collingham.

I think Massie handles JG in this one. But then again, I thought Licking Valley would beat JG, so what do I know.

I like Massie in this one in a close game. To say John Glenn isn't physical shows ignorance about the MVL. Top half of that league is as physical as you will find in Ohio in that division.

Very Good High School Game.

The 1st Quarter was played on John Glenn side of the field. The John Glenn defense held Massie out of the end zone until about the 3 minute mark and Massie threw a 31 yard pass for a touchdown. QB
Early in 2nd quarter Massie fumbled a punt and John Glenn was able to get in the end zone to tie the score at 7. John Glenn was able to the passing game going a bit and threw a long pass down to about the 5. A couple plays later took it into the end zone to give John Glenn a 14-7 lead which was the score at halftime.
Massie got ball to start the 3rd and drove down the field to tie the score at 14. Again the passing game got John Glenn into the end zone again to take a 21-14 lead. Massie had a 1st an goal and had a penalty and end up with a 4th and goal from the 20. Massie was able to get a competed pass that went for a touchdown to tie the score at 21-21 with about 7 min mark. John Glenn got the ball back and on a play that had the John Glenn qb scramble he lofted a pass to where he must have thought would just fall incomplete but Massie intercepted for a pick 6. Clinton Massie had the lead 28-21 with about 3 1/2 minutes left. John Glenn was able to stop Massie to get ball back 2 more times but could make the plays to score again. Good game with excellent crowds from both teams. John Glenn seemed to have momentum in the 2nd half but once Clinton Massie was able to tie at 21 the Massie Falcons seem to seize the opportunity they got to get the game in their favor. John Glenn seem to struggle when playing from behind.
