It's more about The OVAC than The PVC. As long as these teams are going to play each other anyway, they may as well keep giving out a trophy or bumper sticker.
Re: Pioneer Valley Conf 2017
I can see either Fort or Shenandoah coming in first. Can't discount the playmaking ability of FF's QB play, even though they did graduate a big senior class.
Not sure about Caldwell??
Frontier and MC a coin toss to see who wins the cellar.

Re: Pioneer Valley Conf 2017
Fort Frye will need to find some playmakers I think star baseball player Tyler Bradford , 6-5 TE Jesse Mccleod , RB Tyler Fisher and Brennan Huck Wr will surprise some people. The line should still be very good. If you have the best QB, Line and coach you have a shot. Just have to have some guys get experience. Waterford , Steubenville CC, Johnstown Northridge , and Warren should all be much improved and that's a tough schedule for a young team. Not sure what Barnesville has coming up but that game will be war @Barnesville week 7.

Yea that's where I went to school. Coach Huck has built this program from ground up into something to be proud of. 4 playoff seasons in 5 years.

Not sure I know more than what I posted before, other than I hear that Monroe Central's line is going to be pretty big. Who do they have to run behind it??

Re: Pioneer Valley Conf 2017
I was in Beverly back in April for the first time ever. I stopped down to see what the FF Football field looked like. I couldn't have been more shocked at how small the seating was, smaller then Beallsville. Is this the norm or are more seats added during the season. I doubt there are more then 1500 seats.

Fort Frye home section is pretty big actually the visitors section is really small but most teams have a small visitors section.

Yea I think Fort has plenty of seating the home bleachers are bigger then most schools we play.
Re: Pioneer Valley Conf 2017
Lawn chairs abound at The Fort. Homefolks, and visitors set up on both sides of the home side bleachers.EasternDspy wrote: Sat Jul 29, 2017 9:06 am Fort Frye home section is pretty big actually the visitors section is really small but most teams have a small visitors section.
The field sets down about 15 feet below the lawn chairs. great seating for those with chairs or blankets.
