Now D7 this should be the year of the Pilots.

Have one of the best players in the OVAC - if not the best. Question is, what do they return and have around him?

They were # 1 in their division last season. You would think they will make some noise after dropping down one division.

Weren't Fort Frye and them in the same league at one time? Why did they leave?

They said they left for travel reasons.

Clearly the best Football Player / Athlete in this Region in Lucas Islay. Already twice All State in Football and once in BB. Schedule does favor River, although not sure they have much returning. I recall seeing last season's Game Program and nearly every starter other then Islay was a Senior.

No doubt Isaly's the best football player/athlete in the Region. Dropping down to D7 has to be a benefit because 5 or 6 wins should get them in playoffs. Their stadium getting a revamp over summer - new artificial turf, bleachers, press box. Pilots have a tough schedule for their size.

Lukas Isaly is a very good athlete, a star in everything he does. River's problem will be in replacing many other very good athletes and the schedule. Picking up Meadowbrook, linsly, and Lucas after the massive graduation will be a challenge. I am sure Coach Flannery will have his team ready. The new turf will help with motivation early, and game experience will come quickly.

Scrimmage Report was that River played very well against Buckeye Local and Barnesville. Scrimmages never show anything, coaches are playing like the NFL. If they fear injury don't scrimmage. Buckeye has been down and Barnesville graduated lots of talent.
