I watched the week 10 Highland (8-2) vs. Barberton (10-0) game this afternoon. Barberton was 2-10 passing. They rarely pass and don't look comfortable doing it. They mostly run the ball right at you, which is the strength of the TV defense. If the RB gets past the LBs it's over cause he has speed to burn.

Poor special teams. Most punts went 20-25 yards. Kickoffs were not deep. They don't attempt FGs on 3rd and 7 at the 15.


Not predicting a Tri-Valley win, but I think Sheridan is better than Barberton. TV just needs to put forth a Sheridan effort.

I know Tri-Valley had a stumble earlier against John Glenn, but I also think they will represent themselves very well this week end.

I watched half of the Barberton vs Aurora game. Late September, turf field and no rain. Barberton passed pretty well in it. Special teams still really iffy. They squib kick and do onside kicks quite a bit.

TV moved the ball well between the 20s but had trouble nearing the red zone.

Barberton had a few big plays (20+ yards) but could not sustain a drive. Their big fast sophomore tailback just couldn't get away from defenders.

TV's only TD was a pick 6 with about 30 seconds until halftime (a few minutes after the TV FG).
