West(27) @ (21)Raceland
Re: Wk 5 (4-0) Portsmouth West @ (4-1) Raceland
Two very good football teams. This game would be huge for confidence and playoff points.
Re: Wk 5 (4-0) Portsmouth West @ (4-1) Raceland
This one should be a good game. I think west grinds out the win.

Look for this one to be a dandy. Raceland is a very good football team. This will be the biggest test this far on the season for West.

I like Wests defense in this game but don't like it being played there, especially if the game is close. I don't believe a d-4 Waverly against
a d-6 NY would considered game of the week, waverly should take this game handily.

Ball control and no turnovers and West brings home another win.
Re: Wk 5 (4-0) Portsmouth West @ (4-1) Raceland
So because one team is a higher division they should automatically win and win easily?? What about Burg vs Jackson?? By this statement you're saying any team rated division 3/4/5 should beat the likes of division VI schools, marion Local and Coldwater and should thump all over Minster a DVII. Just pointing out that it's not the teams division that makes a team great, good, middle of the road or bad. It's the players and coaches.West Side Pride wrote: Sun Sep 17, 2017 12:24 am I like Wests defense in this game but don't like it being played there, especially if the game is close. Re: Wk 5 (4-0) Portsmouth West @ (4-1) Raceland
Think West travels over to Raceland and gets a hard fought win by 7-10 points. Hoping that anyways going to be tough as Raceland sports a nice team that's only given up 39 points in 5 games and only 6 points given up over last 3 weeks.

I like Raceland at home.
Watched them once, in their grid and the varsity, who played three live quarters looked pretty good.

What about a DIII Jackson @ home against a DV Burg? Both undefeated. That would be tough to top that for GOTW.West Side Pride wrote: Sun Sep 17, 2017 12:24 am I like Wests defense in this game but don't like it being played there, especially if the game is close. Nonetheless, Go West. Pour it on the guys south of the Ohio River.
