TVC should invite Fort Frye.
I don’t know who we need to talk to but this needs to get done. Fort Frye is a good program struggling to find games due to success. Having them join TVC would give them schedule stability.

Re: TVC should invite Fort Frye.
I found more articles referencing Fort Frye as an incoming member of the TVC back in 1969 (see my 1963 thread on consolidations). When NY discussed leaving the SEOAL for the TVC, enrollments for each league were listed and Fort Frye was included with the TVC list. I still haven’t found anything as to why they never joined, but at a minimum, I think they were voted in or they wouldn’t be referred to as a TVC school in the NY articles about weighing the move from the SEOAL to the TVC.

You need to have your administration apply to the TVC. So that's who you should talk to.EasternDspy wrote: Sun Mar 31, 2019 5:55 pm I don’t know who we need to talk to but this needs to get done. With Wahama leaving the Hocking, they are back to an even number. The Ohio needs one more school for an even number. I think the Cadets would have a good chance of being voted into the Ohio if they were ok with being in the bigger division.

I think Fort would welcome the Ohio. They are good enough to compete and I see it coming down to NY, Fort and Athens most years.

Warren is the one they need in the TVC - Ohio. There is to much distance from VC and Wellston to Beverly.

1968 - Fort Frye joins TVC but only participates in baseball in the spring of 1969 before leaving.

Fort Frye is a better fit
They are more like the rest of the division than warren would be
Screw warren
They shoulda never left
Same goes for wahama

Vinton County has a strong program
Alexander does too
Nelsonville-york been to a few regionals lately
Athens has been down, but, they have showed they can be a really good team/program at times.

It may be a long shot, but joining a two-tiered MVL would be better in every conceivable way. Try petitioning them first.
