Minford keeps rolling here but hopefully they won't get caught up in a trap game scenario with wheelersburg right around the corner.

East Clinton two wins have come against teams with a combined record of 1-7, while the teams they’ve lost to are 6-2. Clinton-Massie and Hillsboro are good but I highly doubt East Clinton stops Wiget. He’s having a very nice season so far.

Minford almost got caught looking ahead to the big matchup with Wheelersburg next week. East Clinton was ready to play, came out and smacked them in the mouth. The Falcons Just looked liked they were going through the motions, and expected E.Clinton just let them walk in there and lay down. Clinton was better than I thought and Minford played their absolute worst game of the year. 4 turnovers almost a perfect storm trap game. No school today but teachers had inservice so couldn’t do walk through 2 hour Bus ride and just couldn’t capitalize in the first few drives where they missed 3 wide open touchdowns and that gave EC life. Minford was flat and was definitely looking ahead. Luckily escaped that trap game with no one injured and with a win.

Every year it seems as if every team goes through this situation at least once during the year, where you just don't bring your A game for whatever reason. I think that you had better refocus as soon as possible, as the Burg is going to be in a feisty mood when you face them. It could and should be a very good ballgame this coming weekend.
