Logan 39 - 19 Meigs
It'll be Homecoming at Logan as the Chieftains entertain the Marauders.
This matchup moves to week 8 (from week 3) and is the 6th game in the series which renewed in 2014. The former SEOAL rivals did not meet as non-league foes until 2014.
Logan leads the all-time series 11-7 including 4 of 5 as non-league foes.
Cleland will be the 3rd straight outstanding QB Logan faces, following Joey Moore of Athens and Ben Everson of Zanesville. The gunslinger will put pressure on a weakened Logan secondary.
Logan had a two-game winning streak snapped by Zanesville in resounding fashion last week, by a 44-14 score. Logan lost a number of kids to injury throughout that game so the purple and white depth will be challenged.
Important game for a Logan program trying to regain its footing.

Re: Meigs (1-6) at Logan (2-5)
This is a Logan win. Hopefully the Chiefs get healthy for a run thru the last 3 games. They will be favored in all 3 games.

Re: Meigs (1-6) at Logan (2-5)
Sadly, Meigs now graduates around half the kids they did in the first graduating class after consolidation in 67-68 with a much lower number that participate in varsity sports nowadays. They used to have 20 players on the freshman team and 50 on reserve and varsity. They have 36 players total now with 10 of those being freshmen on the roster. Most teams now don't even play freshman games anymore and some reserve games are hard to get in SEO . Logan should win this one by 35.

At times Meigs don't even play 11 on the field. Friday night they had 12, 11, 10 and 8. Never know what they will do this week

Yes it is sad. Just about every school is down in numbers. You would never know Logan was a Div 2 with their numbers here lately. Kids just aren't going out to play.FANOSPORTS wrote: Mon Oct 14, 2019 11:24 am Sadly, Meigs now graduates around half the kids they did in the first graduating class after consolidation in 67-68 with a much lower number that participate in varsity sports nowadays. No, but if he was Paladine's grandson you'd know it. He wouldn't let you forget it, if he's any good.loganlocos wrote: Mon Oct 14, 2019 10:29 pmDidn't know he was your grandson.noreply66 wrote: Mon Oct 14, 2019 8:02 pm Chiefs were banged up against Zanesville.
