Was sorta hoping it would be Portsmouth but also was sorta hoping it wasn't as well. Portsmouth get's to finally see Wheelersburg again. I know that Portsmouth98 had his fingers crossed for that match-up.

Ironton sure finished up their season in a spectacular way. Taking down two teams that finished with a combined record of 17-3 while racking up 99 points and only giving up 7 total.

Well, at least it's a scenic drive down to the river for the Rockets.

Portsmouth vs Burg isn't set in stone by any means, Ridgewood is waiting for the TCC game played Saturday night if TCC wins they'll jump burg and Portsmouth will be making a long trip to Ridgewood. TCC loses then it will be Trojans and Burg.

For this game Ironton is just to much for Wellston to handle, Wellston going into the playoffs having lost 2 of the last 3 games is never how you want to enter the playoffs. However, new coach has his team playing week 11 ball so for the Wellston faithful hopefully that's a sign of things to come but I do believe they lose a lot. This one will be a running clock, Wellston just doesn't have the fire power to move the ball against that ironton defense that's giving up roughly 5.5 ppg.

That D is crazy, we were averaging over 35 a game going into that contest. The Fossom kid I didn't hear mentioned much all week but he was very impressive last night.

I agree, just wanted to point out Wellston actually only losing a few starters after this year so should be able to fill those holes and have another good season next year.

I’m just happy to see the rockets playing in week 11. Either way they should be proud that 1) they made the playoffs for just the 3rd time in school history and since 2006. 2) had the first winning season since 2006. 3) they get to play one of the best teams in SEO in one of the best stadiums in the state. Just soak it all in because you don’t get to do that very often right now and to play at the the Tank is one of the coolest things you can do.

Fossom was the most impressive player on the field waaayyyyyy back in the short lived 1st string scrimmage of Jackson/Ironton

Ironton big. If Wellston's stud back they may be able to keep it a little closer

I feel like no one mentions a few kids on ironton team who show up every week, if you don’t watch the tigers you would think it was a one man show but it’s really not the case

It will interesting to see how this game goes in the trenches. Ironton’s Defense is lights out. I feel like this game is something like 35-7 when the dust settles.

Yeah I feel like the Molihan kid may break one but, idk if ironton doesn’t turn the ball over in there own territory I feel like it will be hard for wellston th string together a long drive against this defense
