Re: Trimble Football 2020
I see a temporary downturn in talent and a change in offensive philosophy but they do still play in the hocking and that alone is good for 5 wins. the big question is whether or not the gambler will comeback. It would be easy to ride off in the sunset knowing you whacked the worthless nuts several times in a row.
Re: Trimble Football 2020
It will be interesting to see how they do. They lose so much talent.

There’s no way they will be as good as last year. That was very impressive. I don’t know anything about Trimble but those scores were awesome. But they could be like I said I don’t know much about them.

Re: Trimble Football 2020
Pretty tough schedule with NY, Fort Frye, and Vinton County. Hopefully Trimble can drop to D7 or region 24 in D6
Re: Trimble Football 2020
I believe they are playing at Trimble. With 6 graduating at Fort look for another undefeated season from them. They should just reload. Several good young players, if the young players they will fill in the vacant spots. Hard to replace most of the Senior group though. IMO

Re: Trimble Football 2020
They are 48-1 last 5 years in the reg season so I ain’t lying. Lost 3 all state players but return one. Return 8 that started a game on offense and 7 on defense.

Fort Frye is always loaded, and will be for a while. But, the question is, with Trimble bringing in 15 freshman, and having some very good juniors, can Trimble upset Fort Frye?EasternDspy wrote: Mon Dec 23, 2019 12:13 pmThey are 48-1 last 5 years in the reg season so I ain’t lying. If Trimble wins the game I highly doubt anyone will consider it an upset.TomcatFootball11 wrote: Mon Dec 23, 2019 2:03 pmFort Frye is always loaded, and will be for a while. Trimble loses a ton. 3 year starting QB, 4 Year Starting FB and 3 Year Starting TB. Not to mention 5 Senior Linemen which all started for 3 years.
Fort Frye only loses 6 with QB, and 2 RB's returning and a some darn good linemen. If some miracle happens and trimble would win then Yes it would be a major upset.
However, don't worry about that because it won't happen. FF will handle them up front. Dspy is right again. FF is loaded.

But, then a lot of sophomores who will be juniors. Their 8th grade is brining 15 freshman up who played football, and went undefeated this past season. I'd say it would be a pretty good game.

Fort Frye JR high was also undefeated but none of those kids will not see the field. Fort Frye is really deep. Lead by All State LB Dylan Hart.

Re: Trimble Football 2020
The Cats will be as good as our blocking makes us. We will have skill players on offense and will have 6 tacklers out of 11 on D. Fort Frye will be really hard to win. Vinton County also. It will all depend on what the coaches decide to do. I think NY is already chalking up a win, not so fast. The Cats will compete well with every team they play. No need to hit the panic button yet.

Trimble has that Kittle kid at RB and he alone is reason to never count out the cats

Re: Trimble needs a game 6 next season
Now that Athens and Trimble have the same bye week, could we have a two game series? Before it could never happen since week 1 is NY and the bye weeks never lined up
