Re: Week 2. NY @ Wellston
Well, it’s hard to tell. Play like we did in the first half against Trimble it’s going to be a long night. Play like we did in the second half then it will be a good game. NY needs to run the ball more, has a great back in Phillips who touched it less then five times Saturday night. Carter also runs well from the QB position as well. Wellston looked better then last year in my opinion
Re: Week 2. NY @ Wellston
I watched your game on Nelsonville TV Cable and I think the reason NY played so well in second half was because half of Trimble starters were on sideline with cramps. I believe if Trimble could have kept their players on the field it would have been much worse than it ended up.NY BUCK wrote: ↑Mon Aug 31, 2020 8:26 am Well, it’s hard to tell. Stop making excuses and start making things happen!
Re: Week 2. NY @ Wellston
You may be right. I think when NY ran the ball they was much more successful. Didn’t use hardly any of their skill players. That is just my opinion though. Regardless Trimble outplayed us and our coached us. Just have to move on and prepare for a very good Wellston team.Bulldog84 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 31, 2020 8:36 amI watched your game on Nelsonville TV Cable and I think the reason NY played so well in second half was because half of Trimble starters were on sideline with cramps. Re: Week 2. NY @ Wellston
According to the heavy laidies who eat all the cake at my restaurant, Wellston is expecting a worse blowout than last year. Therefore, I'd say NY has a chance to pull one off, cause those laidies are never right.
The BEST thing about people from Wellston is that they have JACKSON on their license plates!
Re: Week 2. NY @ Wellston
This will be an intense game. It could come down to the last drive. Tough kids on both sides of the ball. Wellston has more weapons this year. Two great coaches, a recipe for a good game.
Re: Week 2. NY @ Wellston
Wellston looked real good on film. Watched them live against RV. Was impressed with the QB that moved to WR. Their new QB looked good as well among other things. They are definitely as advertised, saw that first hand last year.

Re: Week 2. NY @ Wellston
Looks like they are at Wellston so Nelsonville is down by 14 already. Not sure they can make that many points up but I hope so cause we like getting the playoff points.

Re: Week 2. NY @ Wellston
The funny thing was Wellston didn’t even turn them in. Alexander did. But, Wellston benefited. Lol
Re: Week 2. NY @ Wellston
Yea the kid transfered FROM Alex. And again was another blowout. That's why he was in...
Re: Week 2. NY @ Wellston
If the Bucks throw the ball 28 times like they did against Trimble Wellston will blow them out. 4 interceptions and a 1st year QB does not make sense.
Dave Boston would roll over in his grave.
TERRIBLE PLAY CALLING!!!!!!!
