If waverly plays Clinton Massie i think they can win just have to get a few key stops. Because i have watched Clinto -Massie every week and there weakness is definitely pass defense and with that being waverlys greatest strength i think they can definitely beat them

Not sure how they are doing the brackets.
They aren’t using the computer rankings this year to determine the playoffs since everyone is in.
I’m just hoping the coaches (who seed the teams like in basketball) will take the computer rankings into consideration.
There are 25 teams in region 16 who have opted in so I’d say at least the top seed will get a bye.

Top 7 will get a bye, with the other games funneling into what would in essence be a NCAA style bracket after that

Waverly will 100% get a bye and then at least one home game, probably two or three.

I hope that the coaches do consider the Harbin ratings as well, especially when you factor in that they won’t have a chance to see each team.

Wyoming and Indian Hill not playing in the six-game season might put Waverly behind both. The Cincinnati area schools, particularly the upper echelon of schools, might not really care enough to fine-point a Waverly seeding at #4 versus #5.

My guess:
#1 Clinton-Massie
#2 Indian Hill
#3 Wyoming
#4 McNick
#5 Waverly

Waverly should get a round one buy but I bet the Cinco schools will vote together. I wouldn’t be surprised if massie gets the two spot. Indian hill is better this year than Wyoming imo. Massie will kill anyone they play this year and I’ll be shocked if they lose this region. I don’t look for a unioto Waverly matchup to happen. I think for unioto we are looking at a round one Hillsboro, McClain, or Kenton ridge. Hopefully it isn’t ridge cause that would be tuff for us. Best case is we get to the 10 and if we win would play bethel Tate round 2, but I doubt we could get higher than 12. Likely we will have a very hard game to win in round two if we get there.
