Wellston can win this game for sure
no competition don't gotta compete, I'm already winning this isn't defeat
Re: RD2: Wellston (5-2)@ Johnstown-Monroe (5-2)
I think Wellston can win this game...but they have to believe it.
Re: RD2: Wellston (5-2)@ Johnstown-Monroe (5-2)
I think this is a great draw for Wellston and the style they want to play. Let's go with the Rockets by 7

Wellston takeS care of the football and make plays when the plays need to be made. Very doable for the Golden Rockets to win this game. They have played some nice teams this year to prepare for this. As I92 said......Gotta Believe.....

Johnstown for sure has the experience factor in their favor. Wellston will come to play.

J-M not the team from the last few years but we'll see who has the best running game in this one. This should be a fast clock ball control game. (Johnnies by a td)

Id like to see wellston use garvin on defense a little i dont recall him playing d against VC/ i watched thr gallia game but cant remember if he played defrnse then either seems to be a really tough kid/good athlete to not play defense.

Not sure they wanted to use him against VC. If I recall he toted the rock 20+x That game. Big fella needs some air n water at that rate.ha. But Wellston wins when Garvin gets going.
Fort Frye Put a spy on him when they played Wellston. GA did a good job at shuttin em down as well. The importance of him to the overall success of the offense prolly keeps him sidelined when defense is out there. You make a great statement though. He is most definitely a hard nosed , Football player and could make a person wonder why he’s not on the field every snap of the game.

Definitely I was like this kid should be on defense but I could understand with him carrying the rock that much why he would need a break. Usually the guys who are not fun to tackle are not fun to get hit by either.countywide35 wrote: Tue Oct 13, 2020 6:46 amMrFirstTake wrote: Mon Oct 12, 2020 8:04 pm Id like to see wellston use garvin on defense a little i dont recall him playing d against VC/ i watched thr gallia game but cant remember if he played defrnse then either seems to be a really tough kid/good athlete to not play defense.

Garvin had 72 yards against FF and 107 against GA, but I hear he may be playing against Johnstown

Garvin had 72 yards against FF and 107 against GA, he is a load and one tough young man. Also, I hear he may play defense against Johnstown this Saturday, nonetheless the team has to play hard and eliminate mistakes to be successful.

But had trouble findin the end zone.
Good things happen for the Rockets when he is rolling!
He’s a hard nosed player. Enjoy watchin him play.
Reminds of guys like Christian Okayo , Tommy Vardell, Mike Alstot, Daryle “Moose” Johnston .....

The Johnnies might not be the Johnstow of old but they are still tough.
Beating them in their back yard is tough.
Johnnies win.

Wellston isn’t the same team that you saw play Paint Valley either LCF. You’re right it will be tough, but you might be surprised
