Congratulations and good luck to Nolan as he takes the reigns of the Valley football program.

The other thread was all over the map…so I figured I’d start this to officially welcome him.

I’m so happy for the decision that was made. It will give Nolan an opportunity to expand on a tradition that was created under Darren’s reign. An opportunity to show southern Ohio what we at Valley already know.
That nobody will be more prepared or exploit the talent that is afforded to him. The ones that come out to play for Nolan will be able to say they were the first to begin this new era of Valley Football.
We may be a smaller school. But we hide from nobody.
Let’s get to work.

All I know is he stepped in when Dean retired and led young men to great accomplishments. A strong leader will rally the troops. I can't predict the future but if his takeover of the Valley baseball program is any indication then I'm certainly excited what the future holds.

Sounds like a great hire for Valley. I heard him speak on the radio the other day and he mentioned one of his goals was to increase the numbers in the football program. As a fan of Southern Ohio football, I hope he achieves this. Always fun when local teams are highly competitive year in and year out.

The right choice for Valley. Coach Crabtree will get things rolling again in Lucasville. Need to get their roster back up around 40+ kids to truly compete in SOC II, but with expanded playoffs and in D6/D7, they always going to be a threat to go on a playoff run. Junior high numbers are picking up again, so they on the right track. Congrats to Coach Crabtree and Lucasville community.*
