Varsity portion of Marietta-Logan ended 7-6, Logan. Both teams very run heavy and had long possessions. Marietta broke a big TD run for their score. Tigers didn’t show much but the freshman QB looked to have good command of the offense.

Marietta responded on the Next drive almost immediately with a 60-65 yard touchdown run but missed the point after

Thought Marietta looked promising considering how young they are. Very few seniors playing for them. QB seemed to manage the offense pretty well for a freshman. Defense played solid except for some missed tackles on the scoring drive. Probably going to be a tough JV year for the Tigers with so many young guys playing varsity.

We'll see but I did hear from one of the PV coaches they essentially ran 2 formations all night, didn't allow for any QB read pulls they've kept it VERY vanilla in the 2 scrimmages.

Yeah they said Hillsboro was very physical team but again kept it very basic starting off with Blanchester and then West Jeff, PV wasn't looking to put much on tape in terms of preparational work for them especially West Jefferson.
