Wow, Minford with a bright future

Just finished updating stats

They have a freshman qb and no seniors with stats so far. 7th grade team and 6th grade team that has never lost is what I have also heard.

So far this year 2-0

Out of curiosity…do they have a 7th grade team? Looking at the scores on the jr. high thread there is only one Minford listed…

if that 6th grade qb continues to grow he will be legit. he is a huge 6th grader with skill.

The 6th grader is the freshman QB’s younger brother. The Freshman has shown some flashes and has the potential tail to be the best QB Minford has had in a long time.

So that's not even the scary part the SOC as a whole is going to be tough as hell in another year or 2. Minford is as posted above, Waverly is starting a freshman, several sophomores including the QB, Jr RB who's leading the area, Wheelersburg has what they're calling one of the best Freshman classes to possibly ever come through, Valley has a really good group coming through that's in 8th right now, West might be the only team that could be on a downward trend at that point.

Really with the Montgomery kid would take some handoffs or play some WR, he's one of the best athletes in the area. He only comes in to kick (I believe that was part of the deal to get him to play --- kicking only). He'd be a heck of a playmaker for the Falcons that's for sure.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but Minfords schedule is about as weak as pee wee herman and their ceiling is still 6-4.

Basketball team has a legit chance to win the league next 3 years and hopefully break the district curse.

Yeah that’s a known thing in terms of their schedule this year, but really irrelevant to the topic though.

5th grade team is also pretty good. Won super bowl last year and haven't given up a point in league play all last year and 2 games this year. What I like most is the teams in our league (Minford, West, NW, Ironton, Waverly) have great numbers to field a team for each individual grade 3rd-6th. Saying something for this technology/gaming age. Future looks bright for the area...as long as parents don't screw it up!!

Won't be the QB. Also just a matter of time before Pendleton moves on to the college level and the Rivals 24-7 in SE Ohio saga comes to an end.

[/Blah…I’ve heard that since day 1 of the Pendleton hire from haters! If he ever goes anywhere his brother and staff will remain in place and keep it going. You do realize his brother is the defensive coordinator right? They will be just fine either way. I think hes right where he wants to be. He puts in way too much time not to be.

Minford has played the worst non conference schedule in the area, let’s look at the stats when they start SOC play

That's not the topic at hand, has nothing to do with schedule or even stats. Simply talking about how young Minford is.

Minford is really young and will struggle later in the season in SOC play. I think that covers the topic in hand.
