So you’re saying there’s a chance! Based on what we have seen, If it’s only up to hardest hitting, Spartans win. No question.
Unfortunately there is a lot more to it. Talent, play calling, the line play, playing when you’re down a score or two. Etc etc

IMHO Alex has only one reason to lose, if they don’t believe they can win. Alex has tools and talent. They just aren’t brothers out there yet. If they get it together and expect to win, they win. If they go in believing they can’t beat Athens, it’ll be over in the first.

Wow Athens has hit the ground hard after Burrow.
I know he was a generational talent and that team had some very good players on it.
But how did they fall so far.
They left the SEOAL because of lack of talent and I’m. Not picking a fight here.
But how they play smaller schools and are still finding wins tough to come by.
Is the talent pool that thin there or do kids just not want to play football.
Anyway I think Athens falls in this one by a few scores.

For the love of Joey B what is going on in the A

He was Burrow's QB coach and then became Head coach. He is a good guy but not the right guy. He is now in the Athens Hall of Fame. Admininstration is finding it hard to get rid of someone who coach Burrow, IMO
