IMO Harvest prep is the #1team in D-5 and either Coldwater or South range at 2 and 3 and I would put Ironton at 4 and Burg around the 10 or 11 range

Region 19 goes thru harvest prep this year. I think they finish 1, ironton 2, I think burg will be 3 or 4. Prep seems to get better each year and this could be there year.

As formerfcfan said, zero-win teams hurt a team's ranking here, so the Russell game for sure hurting Burg. Burg's win over Archbishop McNicholas (D4) one of the best wins for any D5 team in State though. Drew Pasteur has Ironton ranked 11th and Burg ranked 14th in D5 for what it's worth (as woby said, not much).*

Ironton beats JC
Burg beats Ashland
Jackson beats Western Brown
and a Fairland win
those rankings will change.
Jackson is better than their record as is Burg and Fairland gave Ironton all they wanted for well over a half.
Maybe Ironton didn't take fairland serious maybe they held back for this weeks game don't know a win is a win.
But Irontons Defense is for real and can't force turnovers.
But I agree the end of the year is what matters not what is happing up to now,

Rankings are fun and get people talking, but just like others have said on here, they are completely meaningless. The only rankings that matter at all are the computer rankings after week 10.

On another note: I remember watching the Burg v. HP game last year. The running back that HP had was a stud. Did he return or did he graduate?
