Re: WK5 WARREN VS FORT FRYE
Warren is just way too young this year. Warren has like 5 sophomores on D. They will compete but this game will be another learning curve and a blueprint on what you need to do to become an elite program.

Not to mention Pepper, Warren's best WR, is a freshman...Notsofastmyfriend wrote: ↑Sat Sep 10, 2022 7:51 amWarren is just way too young this year. Warren has like 5 sophomores on D. Re: WK5 WARREN VS FORT FRYE
Pepper is definitely a talent. He’s been seeing single coverage early in the year too though. They doubled him in 2nd half last night and held him to 1 catch. #6 is pretty good on the other side, who sees double teams, and takes some big hits with the routes Warren runs. #19 is a good slot receiver too. At the end of the day, none of them are seniors. One or two years makes a huge difference. They will be fine. Just need time to grow into the system.bigblue52 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 10, 2022 9:15 amNot to mention Pepper, Warren's best WR, is a freshman...Notsofastmyfriend wrote: ↑Sat Sep 10, 2022 7:51 amWarren is just way too young this year. Re: WK5 WARREN VS FORT FRYE
This is a one sided game this year. We’ll play hard and compete but we just aren’t there physically. Next year and the year after, this will be a fun game to watch.
Re: WK5 WARREN VS FORT FRYE
They start 6 sophomores, 2 juniors and 3 seniors on defense.Notsofastmyfriend wrote: ↑Sat Sep 10, 2022 7:51 amWarren is just way too young this year. Warren has like 5 sophomores on D. This is an unofficial Twin State league game.
Also hearing if they can afford the buyout that Morgan is interested in leaving MVL.

Fort Frye comes in scoring 46 ppg. They have only punted a handful of times but they might have best punter in D6. He had a 70 yard punt last night. Clay Gruey is a beast.

Re: WK5 WARREN VS FORT FRYE
Austin Powell scored a Td on his first carry last night with a club on his left hand. He looked like he was shot out of a cannon. All players should be back except Lb Keegan Strode.

Interesting. If true, I’d imagine moving up to the big school division in the MVL in 2024 is the motivating factor.EasternDspy wrote: ↑Sat Sep 10, 2022 10:02 am This is an unofficial Twin State league game.

Looking forward to the start of the TSL. I believe it officially begins this winter.

Morgan faired pretty well against Sheridan last night, but yeah that is going to be tough. Morgan football program is definitely going in the right direction. They’d be a great fit for the TSL.EasternDspy wrote: ↑Sat Sep 10, 2022 11:05 am No way can Morgan compete with Tri Valley and Sheridan.

The younger kids for Fort Frye have stepped up with these injuries players like Riddle and Snodgrass have shown they are going to be studs next year. Also Clayton Miller is a monster at Qb and he’s just getting started.

I don't know Snodgrass, but I've always thought Brendan has a chance to be a pretty special athlete.EasternDspy wrote: ↑Sat Sep 10, 2022 11:15 am The younger kids for Fort Frye have stepped up with these injuries players like Riddle and Snodgrass have shown they are going to be studs next year.
