Not enough hotels and shopping and dining. Ubers is likely bad. Etc etc etc. Too rural.

Wasn't Ironton's first state title won at the Akron Rubber bowl?

Yup but that was how many yrs ago? Jacksons too rural. Not enough of anything to host.

Would’ve been novel and interesting 10+ years ago, but streaming would kill attendance today if it were at Jackson.

Oh yeah for sure. Jackson not big enough at all.

Columbus is and will always be the most logical spot. It is a 2.5 hour max drive for anyone in the state.

Why is it not in Columbus? It’s center state and makes sense. Ohio state not want the games there or oh$aa want it up north.

Why not historic crew stadium now that it has turf? Perfect size 20,000 seats to host and could create a great atmosphere. Better chance of weather than canton and more centrally located. Easy access and plenty of parking with the surrounding state fairgrounds.

I believe there is a game being played at that stadium this round. I forgot who it is but I thought is that the soccer stadium. That would work too.
