Numbers are solid. The program will have a freshman team this fall for the first time since the mid 2000’s. Jr high looks to have 40 plus this fall as well.

The biggest problem at VC is most of them boys got one leg longer than the other. But when they aint drinkin them boys is tough. You all gonna find out that Coach casper got them boys hitting at spring ball out at Zaleski. They gona have hole new level of tough this fall.

I think most of the people close to the program expect this team to be improved from a year ago but the Vikings did lose some key players. Molihan at qb (even though he went down in week 7) will be a huge loss. Lost a few on the line as well but the jr class from last season is pretty good. 6-4 last year and a one point loss in the conference title game is the bar. Hopefully they can take the next step this fall. I’d say hitting at spring ball out in Zaleski will be good enough for at least two more wins this year.

There are 6 for sure wins on that schedule (Athens, Meigs, RV, Wellston, Trimble, and Alexander). So if we can muscle up a 2-2 record or better against the rest we should be hosting a playoff game and possibly winning the TVC.
