Ironton running away but south point is on a football high, so they keep it close until 2nd half

The Pointers can at least go into the game against the Tigers this coming week feeling very good about themselves after their big victory over the Grovers. What happens after the game starts or during the game may turn out to be not as pleasant. It was still a very nice win for them this past week-end. Hope for an injury free game for both teams.

South Point and their 15 seniors will be fired up and ready but Ironton is way too loaded.

Ironton will win big but it’s not going to be Ironton running up the score. Pendelton and the Ironton program do stuff the right way. Good measuring stick game for SP to say this is where we want to get to.

South Point is currently at the 4 spot in DVR19 Rankings.
This is the best start for South Point since 2013, when they started 4-0 and ended the season at 7-3. If South Point can get a few more wins this season, they’ll make the playoffs.

Ironton is 25-3 all time vs South Point.

I don’t get this comment…The goal is to win the game by as many points as possible. If Ironton takes a huge lead and leaves the #1s in I’d be surprised.
